1. Ticketing and Refund Policy

* All event tickets are non-transferable unless prior written approval is obtained from Westend Business Hub.

* Refunds will only be issued if requested in writing via email to [email protected] at least 10 full business days before the scheduled event. This policy applies to both paid and complimentary tickets.

* No refunds will be given for cancellations received within 10 business days of the event. This includes absences due to illness, travel disruptions, work commitments, emergencies, or other personal circumstances.

* Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, and any third-party transaction fees incurred during ticket purchase are non-refundable.

* If an event is cancelled or rescheduled by Westend Business Hub, all registered participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future event.

2. Photography, Videography, and Media Release

* By entering any Westend Business Hub event venue, you grant full consent for West Plus Media, Westend Photography, Westend Business Hub, and any affiliated partners or contractors to capture, use, and publish photographic images and video/audio recordings taken during the event.

* These materials may be used in various formats, including print, digital, broadcast, and online, for promotional, marketing, or editorial purposes.

* Content may be published across websites, social media, media channels, newsletters, and marketing collateral.

* If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify the event organizers in writing at least 48 hours before the event at [email protected]. Efforts will be made to respect your request; however, exclusion from all media may not be guaranteed in group settings.

3. Use of Personal Information and Marketing Communications

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs):

* Personal information collected during registration (including your name, email address, phone number, company, and any demographic data) will be used for event communication, administration, and attendee engagement.

* By registering for the event, you expressly consent to receive email, SMS, or digital communications from:

* Westend Photography

* Event sponsors and strategic partners

* These communications may include promotional material, post-event follow-ups, newsletters, event invitations, and community news.

Westend Business Hub is committed to creating a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment at all events. All participants agree to:

* Behave professionally and ethically at all times.

* Refrain from discriminatory, harassing, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward other participants, speakers, or event staff.

* Show courtesy, respect, and collaboration within all sessions and networking environments.

* Report any breach of these standards immediately to event staff or via [email protected].

Westend Business Hub reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any individual from an event without refund if they are found to be in breach of this Code of Conduct.

5. Program Changes, Force Majeure, and Event Cancellations

* All advertised programs, schedules, speakers, venues, and activities are subject to change without notice due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.

* In the event of a postponement, venue change, or rescheduling due to weather, speaker illness, natural disasters, or public health restrictions (e.g., pandemic protocols), all efforts will be made to notify attendees and accommodate transfers or refunds.

* Westend Business Hub is not responsible for any direct or indirect financial loss (including travel, accommodation, or business disruption costs) arising from event changes or cancellations.

6. Limitation of Liability

* To the fullest extent permitted by law, Westend Business Hub excludes all liability for any injury, loss, damage, or expenses incurred by any participant attending an event, whether directly or indirectly.

* Attendees are solely responsible for their own belongings, health, andl-being throughout the event.

7. COVID-19 and Public Health Compliance

* All attendees must adhere to current Australian Government and local public health advice, including vaccination requirements, contact tracing protocols, mask mandates, and social distancing, if applicable.

* If you are feeling unwell or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, you must not attend the event and should notify the organizers immediately.
